Criteria for selecting the best three albums

First, Greatest Hits albums are permitted. You will not see one today since this band doesn’t have a greatest hits album. Second – no live albums. Third, I’m including an honorable mention album for my top 25 favorite bands. I wish I had more than one for this band. They’ve released a half dozen good albums. I’m going to talk about the best ones in this video.

Kings of Leon Albums ranked by ChatGPT

Let’s take a look at what artificial intelligence has to say about this list according to ChatGPT. Here are the top three Kings of Leon albums. Pretty good list although I only agree with one of the picks. I will note that their early music is marked by high energy, garage band sound with a somewhat Southern twist which is not necessarily my cup of tea.

  1. Only by the Night” (2008) This album achieved immense commercial success with hit singles like “Sex on Fire” and “Use Somebody.” It propelled Kings of Leon to global stardom and received widespread critical acclaim for its anthemic rock sound and emotionally charged lyrics.
  2. Because of the Times” (2007) Considered a pivotal album in the band’s career, “Because of the Times” showcased Kings of Leon’s growth and experimentation. It received high praise from critics for its bold and expansive sound, combining elements of indie rock, alternative, and southern rock.
  3. Aha Shake Heartbreak” (2004): With their sophomore release, Kings of Leon continued to solidify their distinctive sound. “Aha Shake Heartbreak” earned critical acclaim for its raw energy, introspective lyrics, and a mix of garage rock and Southern influences

The third-best album by this band is WALLS

The third-best Kings of Leon album is called WALLS. I really enjoy listening to this record. Some hardcore fans and critics didn’t care much for it. They said it lacked energy and the production was too smooth. Cut the crap – this is a good album. The best-known song is “Waste a Moment”.

The second-best album by Kings of Leon

The second-best album by Kings of Leon is called When You See Yourself. They released this record in 2021 during the pandemic. It is a really good album that I own on vinyl. When 3you look at the song list there are not really a lot of hit songs. Every song on this album is good.

Honorable mention album for this band

Let’s talk about the honorable mention album for this band – Mechanical Bull. It was released in 2013 and was viewed as a return to their original sound. I like the guitars on it. The album opens up with “Super Soaker” and goes from there. A solid album for sure.

The best album by Kings of Leon

The best album by Kings of Leon is called Only by the Night. This is a really good album. It includes the hits “Use Somebody”, and “Sex on Fire”.
